The Challenge

Partners Life is a New Zealand-owned life insurance company offering a full range of risk mitigation products. However, their files lacked organisation and lead to 300,000 pages of policy documentation to be stacked up in the boardroom, creating a serious bottleneck for business processes. Partners Life needed better infrastructure and a way for colleagues to easily communicate and collaborate.

The Approach

Partners Life came to Provoke looking for systems and applications that would scale rapidly and be easy to maintain – Partners Life was aware it needed to keep IT resources as free as possible to allow for planned expansion. Provoke recommended moving their systems to the cloud and implementing Office 365.

The Outcome

Thanks to the flexibility of Microsoft Azure, Partners Life has easily digitised and stored their documents. Digitising their paper processes has removed more than $260,000 worth of mail-processing costs per year and made policy documents completely searchable. This has improved customer response time and overall satisfaction.
